Where Is the Tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis, the Milanese Boy Venerated Worldwide?

Visitors to Assisi Can Once Again See Blessed Carlo Acutis

The tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis has reopened as Italy begins to relax pandemic restrictions. Originally scheduled to reopen in 2021, the tomb was closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Body of Carlo Acutis

Carlo Acutis was born in London in 1991 to Italian parents. He died of leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15. In 2020, he was beatified by Pope Francis. His body is now on display in a glass casket in the Sanctuary of the Spoliation in Assisi, Italy.

A Beacon of Light

Carlo Acutis was a devout Catholic who had a deep love for the Eucharist. He was also a gifted computer programmer who created a website to catalog Eucharistic miracles. He is considered a role model for young people, and his tomb has become a popular pilgrimage site.

The reopening of the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis is a sign of hope and renewal for the Church in Italy. It is a reminder of the power of faith and the importance of following God's will.
