UEFA and DFB establish Euro 2024 Joint Venture

Joint effort for a sustainable and unforgettable tournament

Frankfurt am Main, 4th November, 2022 - The German Football Association (DFB) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) have announced the establishment of a joint venture to deliver the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024. The joint venture, Euro 2024 GmbH, will operate as the host of the tournament, and will be headquartered in Frankfurt am Main.

The mission of Euro 2024 GmbH is to organize and deliver a successful and memorable UEFA EURO 2024, with a strong focus on sustainability. The joint venture will work closely with all stakeholders, including the host cities, participating teams, and partners, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

DFB President, Bernd Neuendorf, highlighted the importance of the joint venture in delivering a world-class tournament: "The establishment of Euro 2024 GmbH is a significant milestone in our preparations for UEFA EURO 2024. By working together with UEFA, we will harness our collective expertise and resources to create a tournament that will set a new benchmark for sustainability and fan engagement."

UEFA President, Aleksander ÄŒeferin, expressed his confidence in the joint venture: "I am delighted that we have established Euro 2024 GmbH with our partners at the DFB. This joint venture will provide a solid foundation for the delivery of a truly exceptional UEFA EURO 2024. Together, we are committed to delivering a tournament that will leave a lasting legacy for football in Germany and across Europe."

Euro 2024 GmbH will be led by a team of experienced professionals from both the DFB and UEFA. The management team will be responsible for all aspects of the tournament's organization, including venue management, ticketing, marketing, and operations.

The UEFA EURO 2024 will take place in Germany from 14 June to 14 July 2024. The tournament will feature 24 teams competing in 51 matches across 10 host cities.
